SUSSEX PUBLIC INFORMATION TRAINING DAY & WORKSHOP, MUSIC QUIZ & NA MEETING.
Saturday 28th November from 11am until 9pmish
Venue: Evangelical Church, Park Hill, Brighton, East Sussex, BN2
Come and join us for the day to learn practical skills, have fun & get to a meeting!!!
Training by UK Public Information Committee, from 11am to 4pm
This is open to all NA’ers interested in learning about talking to professionals through Public Information work or
NAers talking to professionals or addicts, through committees of ‘Hospitals and Institutions’ as panels in venues.
We are hoping that ANYONE interested in ‘carrying the message’ to addicts,
whether in Sussex OR other areas will come along.
We will learn how to talk to others, outside of NA, about how NA works, by developing skills.
By increasing our confidence & getting involved in the joy of working with service committees,
we reap more benefits of being clean.
Any NAer is welcome to attend…there is no restriction on clean-time requirement for the training workshop.
Lunch will be available for a nominal charge of £2-3. Tea, coffee, biscuits free.
Clean time requirement for chairs going in to Hospitals & Institutions is 3 months minimum;
for secretaries at Hospitals & Institutions is 1 year clean;
for those joining Public Information for talks 1 year clean….
plus help needed to support the committees, from 0 to 3 years clean!
Music Quiz,from 4pmish until 7pm
with recorded music of questions and answers. £2 charge for quiz with proceeds to Sussex Area Service Committee.
Winning team gets a prize.
Quiz Categories are ‘60s & 70s’; ‘spot the intros’; ‘80s-90s’; ‘next line’; ‘2000 to now’ and ‘music trivia’.
Snacks available at low cost.
NA Meeting from 7.30pm to 9pm
There is some ‘host’ accommodation near Brighton for recovering addicts
travelling from other areas for Friday and Saturday,

WOMENS CONVENTION OF NA - BERMUDA 2010
Friday 26th, Saturday
27th, Sunday 28th February 2010.
Fairmount, Southampton, Bermuda.
In February 2008, Bermuda was granted the bid to host the Women’s NA Convention in February 2010.
What a wonderful opportunity for the British women to fellowship with women members around the World.
Bermuda was granted this bid in hopes of bringing the message of hope to the women here.
Bermuda currently have 15 women in the whole fellowship and this convention will hopefully help our women to stay.
Because Bermuda is a British Colony,
UK residents may enter with their British passport, no visa required.
Those unable to attend the Women’s conventions held in the United States and Canada,
may freely attend the 2010 Convention in Bermuda.
...Our hope is to take this convention around the world...
