NA CHAT ROOM

Welcome!

This is a place for recovering addicts to hang out as & when, but also where regular NA meetings are held. They are held on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday at 7.30pm and Tuesday at 8:00pm (UK time) in the UK NA Chat-room.

Please Come along!  We ask you to act responsibly & respectfully to other visitors.  When not using the chatroom please log out.  To enter the chat room, first of all you need to register.
Please see the notes at the bottom of this page for important information and assistance.

In The Online Meetings

Please don't interrupt anyone during their share.  Wait until they've written 'done'.  If you want to share next, type an exclamation mark !  If you have any questions you can PM (Private Message) one of the greeters, chairpeople or moderators [shown with *CH or *GR at the end of their name & a white or red-not blue picture next to their name in the side panel]. To do this, double-click on their name in the side panel on the right.

To Access the Chat Room.

To enter the chat room, first of all you need to register a chat room name, a password that you can remember and a real e-mail address you can access the mail on.

Before registering we suggest that you add – website@ukna.org to your e-mail address book - so that e-mails you receive from that address do not automatically get put in your e-mail account's junk mail folder.  In order to register, please click on the link at the bottom of the login area in the box above.  It should say Create a new user account.

Please Note that this is a separate registration to the UKNA messageboard one.

Upon successful registration you will be sent an activation e-mail from – website@ukna.org

The chatroom runs using java software - your computer may have java already, however - if it does not or has an out-of-date version you may obtain a latest version for your computer for free.

The website committee are not responsible for what occurs inside the UK NA Chatroom outside of the meeting times.

If you experience issues with another chatroom member– please e-mail us.

Transcripts of chat sessions (including private messages) are temporarily saved for review by the website committee in cases of disputed incidents only for the protection of each of us and NA as a whole.
